Privacy policy

PoPoker is a game for fun, and keeps only what the game needs. There are no ads and no trackers, and we don't sell anyone's data.

If anything important on this page changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email.

What we keep

  • Your account: email, username and password. The password is stored only in encrypted form; nobody, us included, can see it. If you sign in with Google, we get only your email and name from Google.
  • The game: coins, chips, items, level, ranking, match history, friends, clan, and the messages you send in clan chat.
  • Your profile picture, if you add one.
  • Reports: what you send in Bugs & ideas, with your app version, device and browser, screen size and IP address (to find problems and stop spam).
  • On your device: your settings (language, sound…) and your sign-in stay in the app's or browser's storage and aren't sent anywhere else.

What we use it for

To run the game: your account, tables, rankings, friends and clans.

For the emails you need (confirming sign-up, resetting your password) and, unless you turn them off, game news. Turn news off any time in Settings or with the link at the bottom of every news email.

Reports are read only to fix problems and make the game better.

What other players see

Your username, picture, level, ranking, game stats and clan are visible to other players. No player ever sees your email.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data to anyone or use it for advertising.

Only two services do part of the work: Brevo sends our emails (it sees only the email address and the message), and Google, only if you choose Sign in with Google.

If the law requires it, we may have to give the necessary data to the authorities.

Where and how it is kept

Everything is stored on PoPoker's own server in Iran (ArvanCloud). Connections are always encrypted (HTTPS), each player can reach only their own data, and the database is backed up every night; backups are kept for 14 days.

Real money

Coins and chips are only for playing: they can't be bought with real money or turned into money. There are no payments in PoPoker, and we never ask for bank details.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account for good at any time: in the app or on the website, open Settings and tap Delete account.

That removes your profile, email, password, coins, items, friends, clan membership and picture right away. Only finished matches stay in other players' history under your old name. Backups are deleted on their own within 14 days.

If you can't get into your account, ask us through Bugs & ideas, giving your account's email, and we'll delete it.

Children

PoPoker is made for adults (18 and over). If you think a child has made an account, tell us and we'll delete it.
